- Our estimated arrival time at the location= 8:00am
- Jess will begin with the styling, working on the hair and make-up for both of our models. In terms of Ellie's styling, we will be straightening her hair and using hairspray to ensure it holds for a prolonged period of time. We will also be applying natural make up with a red lip and matching red nails. Alex will wear a small amount of concealer to cover any minor imperfections.
- While this is taking place, Meg's responsibility will be to set up the camera and lighting.
- In accordance with Meg, I will be reviewing the storyboard to see which shots should be filmed first (taking into consideration the fact that Alex will have to leave the set at 3:00pm).
- I'll also be in charge of setting up the music, laptop and docking station.
- Estimated filming time: 8:45am
- Proceeding from this, we hope to begin filming at 8:45am- 9:00am. The filming of Alex's shots will take priority in the morning as he will be leaving slightly early.
- We plan for filming to continue until 12:00pm with regular breaks (topping up hair and make up and changing sets in the location).
- 12:00-12:30pm lunch break
- After our half an hour lunch break we will continue working through the storyboard (not necessarily in chronological order) focusing on shots with both Alex and Ellie in- yet again pausing for necessary intervals.
- After Alex has left at 3:00pm, our attention will be on the shots of Ellie alone and the exploratory filming of the interior of the building.
We will continuously review the footage throughout and re- film shots accordingly.
As the location is roughly 30- 40 minutes away from our homes, and none of us can yet drive, we have organised a lift with my mum who has agreed to drop and collect us from the location.
This will be hugely beneficial as it is the most efficient way for us to travel with all of our equipment. Tonight all three of us will finish preparing for the shoot, charging cameras and laptops and organising all of the items we have individually agreed to bring.
The forecast for tomorrow is as follows:
The forecast for our filming date looks promising as the weather is fairly constant all day and as a consequence there shouldn't be huge alterations in the natural lighting. Although we will have our own artificial lighting it will still be a benefit if the weather doesn't alter a huge amount throughout the course of the day. As we have planned to film some of our shots by the large windows in the ballroom we will have to be constantly aware of the changing conditions outdoors so that all of the visuals within our video are consistent. It will also be helpful if the sun isn't too bright as this will irradiate any glare issues we might otherwise encounter.
