As our genre of music is Indie/Synth Pop, I have decided that I want to create quite an artistic concept towards the CD cover and poster. Last year I studied Art, and I created pieces of work with ink. The ink was oil based so repelled water, allowing the different colours to mix together creating a psycadellic pattern/print. Many artists use work similar to this, such as The XX, with the iridescent petrol spill effect. In the next few posts I will post examples of some of my work and decide which one I will use.
