Out Of Focus CD Cover Ideas

After doing some research into CD cover ideas within the same genre of music as our band (Indie synth/pop) i have come across a few out of focus styles of work that i'd probably say are a genre convention with indie/alternative bands and artists. I like this distorted way of representing the band on their CD and maybe even their magazine advert, I also think it would tie in pretty well with the personality of INFLUXX. We have planned Ellie & Alex to be presented as 'mysterious' characters in the music video (Alex in particular), they make little eye contact with the camera and remain fairly distant from connecting with the audience and therefore I think that a distorted/out of focus CD cover & magazine advert would be a good way of presenting the band to an audience.
